The original artwork was inspired by something said to a wonderful friend of mine, who is autistic. "You are a rare flower; you just need the right soil". As an autistic artist myself, this resonated deeply, and I wanted to celebrate it in fabric.

This piece was shown as part of my Befriending my Brain exhibition in Cornerstone Arts Centre, Didcot (2024), and The Old Fire Station, Oxford (2025).
