There’s something deeply personal about choosing handmade jewellery, a thoughtful piece of art, or a meaningful gift for someone you love. It’s never just an object. It carries meaning, intention and emotion.
March feels like a great time to properly introduce you to the heart behind Eden Fay - sharing what I create, why I make it, and who it’s all for.
How Eden Fay Began
My creative business was born from a quiet but persistent need to create. I’ve always been drawn to working with my hands. Sketching ideas, testing colours, arranging shapes until they feel like they represent something.
In the early days, it was simply about exploring materials and seeing what emerged. But gradually, a clear thread began to form. I was designing jewellery that felt wearable yet meaningful. Art that leaned into calm, organic forms. Gifts that felt considered rather than convenient.
Over time, that thread became a brand. A brand rooted in mindful creativity, small-batch craftsmanship, and thoughtful, intentional design.
What I Make
Handmade Jewellery for Everyday Meaning
My small-batch handmade jewellery is designed to be worn daily, but still feel special. I think carefully about comfort, proportion and how each piece will sit against the skin. Jewellery should feel like it belongs to you, and helps you feel more you.
Art Prints for Thoughtful Homes
Alongside jewellery, I create art prints that are designed to bring compassion, reflection and calm into your space. My artwork often reflects mental health journeys, neurodivergent thinking, and emotional processing. And silly animals.
Notebooks for Mindful Journaling
And then there are my notebooks. Created using my artwork, and perfect for birthdays, milestones, thank you moments or simply because someone deserves something beautiful. The kind of gift that says, “I saw this and thought of you.”
Behind the Scenes of my Handmade Business
What you see on the website is the final version. But behind the scenes, it’s a process of trial and refinement. Sketches that don’t quite work. Colour combinations that sound great on paper but feel flat in real life. Earrings that aren’t quite the shape I want.
There is a lot of quiet experimentation. And a lot of tea!
Trial and error is part of handmade work. It keeps the designs honest. It ensures that when something finally makes it into the collection, it truly reflects my individuality.
Why I Make
I make because creating helps me navigate my feelings, thoughts, behaviours… basically it helps me to understand my brain! It’s how I process ideas and the world around me.
There’s something grounding about working with your hands. About seeing a design move from imagination to something tangible you can hold. I also make because I believe we all deserve beautiful things that feel personal. Jewellery that becomes part of your daily ritual. Art that makes you pause as you walk past it. Gifts that carry meaning beyond the moment they’re opened.
Who is Eden Fay For
Eden Fay is for anyone who loves bright, bold colours, quirky designs. People who want art that helps them to think about their own neurodivergence or mental health. People who want to gift their family or friends an opportunity to see their personality reflected in their jewellery or art.
It’s for those who appreciate handmade. Who understand the value of small batch. Who like knowing the story behind what they’re wearing or gifting.
It’s also for anyone who feels the pull towards creativity but isn’t sure where to start. Which is how the mindful art workshops became part of the plan!
Expanding Into Mindful Art Workshops
The workshops grew naturally from the making process itself. The most fulfilling part of creating is the act of making: the focus, presence and connection.
My mindful art sessions are not about being ‘good’ at art. They’re about giving yourself permission to explore, experiment and create without pressure. In many ways, they reflect the same values as the jewellery and artwork: Intention, care and slowing down.
Looking Ahead
Like any creative business, Eden Fay continues to evolve. What remains constant is the intention behind it all. To create jewellery, art and gifts that feel meaningful. To offer spaces where creativity can be explored gently. To build something rooted in care rather than rush.
If you’ve supported me, whether by buying something, attending a workshop, sharing a post or simply following along, thank you. Supporting small creative businesses makes more of a difference than you might realise.
And if you’re new here, welcome. I’m so glad you’ve found your way to this little corner of thoughtful making. ✨
